The spirit of service, leadership, and excellence took center stage as the Rotaract Club of Makati proudly represented the club at the 6th Groundbreaking and Exemplary Accomplishments of Rotaractors (GEAR) Awards 2026 held on May 9, 2026, at Venue 88 Hotel and Events Place, General Santos City.
Organized by the Pilipinas Multi-District Information Organization, the GEAR Awards is one of the most prestigious national recognition platforms for Rotaract Clubs across the country. The annual event celebrates impactful projects, innovative initiatives, outstanding leadership, and transformative community service that embody the true ideals of Rotary and Rotaract.
Representing the Club’s accomplishments under the Unite for Good term, six delegates from the Rotaract Club of Makati attended the national awarding ceremony through the generous support of the Rotary Club of Makati. The delegation was composed of Club President Jover R. Acebuche, DRR/PP John Nicole R. Dela Cruz, PP April Jan H. Sembrano, PP Prame Rose E. Cato, PP Mark Gil E. Cato, and Sec./PE Princess Angielette R. Pol, who proudly carried the banner of RAC Makati on the national stage.
The evening became another milestone for the Club as it proudly earned the prestigious Exemplary Club – Platinum Citation, marking RAC Makati’s second Platinum Exemplary distinction following its first during the Magic of Rotary term. This recognition highlights the Club’s unwavering commitment to service excellence, impactful leadership, and meaningful community transformation.
