President, Jover Acebuche and Secretary, Princess Angielette Pol represented the Rotaract Club of Makati at PESELS 2025, held last June 21-22, 2025, at St. Giles Hotel, Makati City.
Prior to the in-person training, they joined the Pre-PESELS virtual orientation on June 18, 2025, which provided an overview of their roles and responsibilities for the coming Rotary year. This online session helped them prepare mentally and set their intentions as incoming officers.
During the two-day training, Pres. Jover and Sec. Princess actively participated in various learning sessions that focused on leadership, teamwork, and personal development. Day 1 started with a warm welcome from district leaders, setting an encouraging atmosphere for all delegates.
Throughout the day, they gained valuable insights on what it means to lead with purpose, how to work effectively with their teams, and how to stay grounded in service despite the challenges of leadership.
The evening concluded with the district’s handover and induction ceremonies, followed by a fellowship night where they connected and shared experiences with Rotaractors from different clubs, fostering friendships and partnerships for future projects.
Day 2 continued with sessions on the district calendar, awards guidelines, and the DRR’s thrust for the year, giving them a clearer direction and inspiration for their upcoming term.
The training concluded with closing messages and awarding of certificates to the participants.
